
Hamilton’s very personal ’90s alternative-rock trio Juno award-winning The Killjoys hit the stage at Bridgeworks Saturday, December 10, celebrating their thirtieth anniversary. Mike Trebilcock (vocals and guitar), Shelley Woods (bass), and Gene Champagne (drums), shared the stage with Juno-winner, Luke Bentham, from The Soiled Nil, opening the evening.
The set listing included Killjoys’ classics reminiscent of Dana, Rave and Drool, Soaked and At present I Hate Everybody. A deep reduce from the band’s Starry report, House Lady, additionally made its means into the set that includes drummer Gene Champagne on guitar and vocals. The Killjoys are again and with that injected some model new music into their set. (Full set listing in photograph gallery).
